Shorashim: The best of Jewish summer camp all year-round! 
Join the Shorashim Hebrew School at Netivot Shalom, an affordable and meaningful Jewish experience for children in Kindergarten through 7th grade.
Our after-school program is based on authentic Jewish traditions, music, hands-on-learning, and celebrating Jewish pride:
- creative and play based, student-directed
-new electives such as music, storytelling, crafts, cooking, sports, and drama
- healthy, nutritious snacks
- inspiring staff serve as amazing role models
- family retreats, Shabbat dinners, Havdalah, and camping trips
- programs cost less than $12/hour
- Amitim Bat and Bar Mitzvah program for 6th - 7th graders
Shorashim meets on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons September - May. Back to School Night will be Tuesday September 6th 6:00 - 8:00 pm for parents and students and will include dinner! Classes start Tuesday September 13th.
The deadline for registration is this Friday 8/19; after this date a $50 late fee will be added.
In addition to our Hebrew School programs, we have excellent Shabbat morning
activities for younger learners: Shabbat B'Yachad for those under 5, Rimmonim for Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and Orah VeSimchah for 3rd - 5th graders. We have also offer Adult Ed classes on a wide variety of topics and texts.
From babies to Bubbies, we have LifeLong Learning programs for everyone at Netivot Shalom!
